In my creativity journey, inspiration typically comes from nature walks and simple surroundings. This year’s holiday fabric collection was different, drawing influences from cherished childhood memories.
Moving to the snowy landscapes of northern Canada early this year prompted a deliberate choice to leave behind the bulk of our family seasonal decorations, bringing only the essentials to our quaint new home. The result? A collection that serves as a visual ode to the memories we couldn’t physically pack but carry in our hearts.
Each pattern in this Christmas collection tells a story. Picture the lively chaos of four siblings competing to hang their favorite ornaments on the tree, or my mum carefully selecting the prime location for those heirloom ornaments that have been passed down through the generations. The there’s the delightful and very messy gingerbread house decorating, a tradition marked by fleeting candy decorations as they mysteriously disappear with the passing of each kid.
